History was made in the United States as Zohran Mamdani was sworn in as the first Muslim mayor of New York City. The inauguration ceremony was attended by thousands of supporters who cheered for the new vision Mamdani promises to bring to one of the world's most complex metropolises. In his inaugural address, Mayor Mamdani emphasized unity, social justice, and economic equity.
